Philippines

Philippines is one of the countries in South East Asia. Many people from different parts of the world want to explore and discover something from my country. Our country is very beautiful with white beaches and virgin wild forests. Our climate here is tropical with hot and wet seasons. Typhoons always damage the mountainous parts of the country because of  floods and landslides and many families are affected of the said calamity. Aside from that, nothing is more dangerous than the typhoon.
Sometimes, volcanic eruption is also the one that people fear of because of the damage that has been done to the   small town. We call it lahar, a lava coming from the volcano which is also white in color  like the sand beach flown on the roads, high ways and most of the houses are buried  with lava. In fact, Pampanga and Zambalez are those places that suffered the Mount Pinatubo eruption in the 90's. Earthquake is popular in the country too but it is not often felt as the typhoon. It can be felt only twice or once a year. So, nothing to be worried about it.
When you look at the map of the Philippines, you can see many islands and islets in it. It is divided into 3 groups: the Luzon in northern part, Visayas at the middle and Mindanao in South. The people living in those 3 parts of lands have different dialects and ethnicities and cultures.

Metro Manila
The main capital of the Philippines is Manila. Metro Manila is part of Luzon in National Capital Region. Many places in Metro Manila have tourist attractions because many historical places can be found in there. Some of the places that people can visit  in Metro Manila are Valenzuela, Malabon, Quezon City, Marikina, Pasig City, Pasay, Makati, Paranaque City.  The most established cities are the Makati and Pasig where many big developed buildings and commercial companies can be seen. People from different provinces who want to have a great job in an established company seek a chance and opportunity on the said cities. Most of the jobs that people applied for are engineers, managers, call center agents, supervisors, marketing representatives, tutorials, etc.
Many tourist attractions that foreigners can visit for their educational trip, leisure time and vacation. The Luneta Park along Roxas Boulevard is the national park where Dr. Jose Rizal's monument is located with real person bodyguard standing there. The place said to be the one where Dr. Jose Rizal was shot during the Spanish time. Many families visit the park especially during Sunday as family day and it is said to be the best place to visit for their bonding moments. They bring food sometimes for their lunch or dinner or snacks. When Christmas or New Year's Eve arrives, the family get together in the park to witness the fireworks display. In ordinary days, others are prefer to stay in Roxas Boulevard during sunset to unwind and decide to have a jog during sunrise.
For those who want malling, shopping and bonding with friends in the club, a lot of places to visit. MOA or Mall Of Asia is the biggest mall in the entire Asia. Many people go there to have family get together, friends malling, shopping, dating, skating and playing for kids. Many shops of branded clothes, shoes and accessories in the MOA. A lot of people taking pictures of the view of the place because it can capture the entire scenario of a windy, well lighted and elegant mall. In Ortigas, there is Robinson's Galleria, SM Megamall in Pasig, ShangriLa in Shaw Boulevard, Market-Market and Serendra in Taguig, SM North in Quezon City, Eastwood malls and other supermalls in  different branches.

Many pure chinese families have their own business in China Town and decided to settle down in the Philippines. They knew already how to speak our native tongue because they lived in that place for many years.

The historical Intramuros also has its own unique description because many couples want their wedding to be held in the said place. It is so beautiful with old historical view garden. Manila Church is their choice to have their wedding ceremony. It is the heart of Manila's history because it features the grand Manila Cathedral. My sweetie and I just dropped by to check the inside of the church and found out that there was a wedding held at that time. The church has its detailed stone carvings and stained glass mosaic.
